Dr DeAmbrosis holds a University of Queensland Master’s degree in Public Health and has published in both Australian and international journals in the areas of non-melanoma skin cancer, vulval dermatology and dermoscopic research. She currently sits on the medical advisory board of the Eczema Association of Australasia.
Dr DeAmbrosis received the Ken Paver Medal for Clinical Sciences during her dermatology training, and the Merck Sharpe and Dohme award for research.
Her special interests are in skin cancer detection and treatment, acne, psoriasis and eczema as well as paediatric and vulval dermatology.
Booking Your Consultation:
While you don’t specifically need a referral to see one of the surgeons or dermatologist, to qualify for a rebate from Medicare, you must have a written referral from your GP or Specialist. GP referrals are valid for 12 months and Specialist referrals for 3 months.
